Clarify to individuals and caregivers that naloxone’s consequences are short term, and that they ought to call 911 or get emergency health-related assistance immediately in all situations of identified or suspected opioid overdose, although naloxone is administered [see Overdosage (ten)]. If naloxone is prescribed, also advise patients and caregi
